Kelli Stubenhofer received her marriage and family therapy
Master’s degree from Kansas State University. She specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents, and their families and has earned the designation as a Certified Play Therapist. In her additional training she completed 150 hours of training in which she received extensive education and supervision in treating issues related to attachment, abuse and trauma, parent-child conflict, child behavior problems, grief and loss, infant and toddler mental health, and family conflict. Ms. Stubenhofer also has experience in providing group treatment to children and adolescents.
Play therapy is a form of psychotherapy intervention that can be used to treat both youth and adults. Ms. Stubenhofer incorporates the use of specialized therapy toys, art materials, sand tray therapy, games, and therapeutic activities in her treatment of individuals and families. Parents and other important caregivers are included in the treatment process as these individuals are key to helping the child maintain positive changes.
Ms. Stubenhofer’s goal is to provide youth and their families a safe place to express feelings and experiences so that relationships can be strengthened and healing can begin.
Fees
Psychotherapy services are provided by Kelli Stubenhofer at $125 per regular therapy hour.
