1. How do I make my first appointment?

2. What are your hours?
We offer counseling Monday - Saturday 8:00 am - 8:00 pm.
Our business office is open Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
3. What ages do you provide counseling to?
All ages! Children, Adolescents, Adults, and Elderly individuals.
4. Do you accept insurance?
Yes. Our providers accept plans from many insurance companies. If your therapist is not an "in-network" provider for your insurance plan, you may still have coverage. We also have select providers who offer a reduced rate (contact our office to inquire). The following insurance companies we are considered "in-network" with, however not all therapists accept these plans. Please inquire with your therapist.

5. I do not have health insurance. Can you still help me?
Yes. Please ask about our reduced rate for selected providers. If we are unable to help, we can provide information to other counseling offices.
6. My insurance plan has a large deductible that I can not pay. Do you have options for me?
Yes. Please ask about our reduced rate for selected providers.
7. I have never been in therapy, what should I expect at the first visit?
You can expect that we will want to get to know you. This might include asking you questions about your background, your goals for therapy, and what the concerns are that initiated the call to our office. However the main focus for your therapist at the first appointment (and additional) is to build a relationship with you.
8. What do I bring to my first appointment?
Yourself, and in some cases your spouse or family members. We also ask that you verify your insurance benefits prior to your appointment (see below). Please bring the new client paperwork.
9. What is your confidentiality policy?
We will not share your personal information without your permission. There are however exclusions which include immediate death threats to yourself or an individual as well as abuse of a child or the elderly. Also, we can not guarantee confidentiality when we submit a claim to your insurance company for therapy sessions at our office. Please refer to our Notice of Privacy Practices.
10. What is your cancellation policy?
Please provide us with greater than 24-hours notice to cancel an appointment in order to avoid any fees.

12. How can I pay for my sessions?
We accept all major credit cards, Flexible Spending and Healthcare Savings Accounts, cash, and checks. Your insurance copayment is due at the time of service.
13. Will my insurance pay for counseling?
Most insurance policies pay for counseling. Please contact your insurance company to inquire about your specific mental health benefits. We suggest asking your insurance company what your benefits are for a mental health office visit, if you have a maximum number or dollar amount of sessions per year, and if authorization is required. While many plans provide coverage for individual and family counseling, marriage counseling is typically not a covered benefit.
